Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Reservation Intern to join our air travel and tourism team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in flight bookings, client service, and travel sales support within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Assist with processing flight bookings and travel reservations through airline GDS (Global Distribution System) platforms like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
  • Provide clients with accurate information on flight options, travel packages, visa requirements, and insurance services.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, ensuring excellent service and timely follow-up.
  • Support the sales team with lead generation, itinerary preparation, and travel quotations.
  • Maintain and update customer and booking records in reservation systems and CRM tools.
  • Track ticketing deadlines, changes, cancellations, and rebookings, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Coordinate with airlines and suppliers to confirm travel arrangements and resolve issues.
  • Assist in compiling daily, weekly, and monthly sales and reservations reports.
  • Stay updated on airline policies, travel trends, fare rules, and promotional offers.
  • Perform administrative and support tasks as required by the sales and reservations team.

Job Requirements

  • Education:
    • Diploma or Degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (final-year student or recent graduate).
  • Language Skills:
    • Proficiency in English language
  • Experience:
    • Basic knowledge of the air travel and tourism industry; familiarity with GDS systems is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    •  Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
    • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
    • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
